In the course of writing for my personal blog on clifgriffin.com, I found that I was devoting an inordinant amount of time to writing about apologetics, Christianity, and how it applies to you and me.  This became so true that whenever I diverted from this subject, it seemed off topic and inappropriate. Meanwhile, I had purchased the domain prolutum.com while contemplating starting to do some web design work again. I picked the name “prolutum” because I wanted it to have a quasi-religious context.

Faced with the decision of whether or not to let the domain lapse (something I hate doing), I realized the better decision would be to start a dedicated blog for my religious ramblings.

I’m fully aware that having two blogs is more than slightly pretentious, but it is for a purpose.
